Kristina McBride
Kristina McBride has published four novels for young adults – THE TENSION OF OPPOSITES (2010), ONE MOMENT (2012), A MILLION TIMES GOODNIGHT (2016), and THE BAKERSVILLE DOZEN (2017). Kristina is a former high school English teacher and yearbook advisor, as well as an adjunct professor at Antioch University Midwest and Wright State University. She loves leading writers’ workshops for all ages, including teachers and librarians aiming to lead to student workshops. Kristina has a thing for music, trees, purses, and chocolate. You might be surprised to learn that Kristina was almost kidnapped when she was a child. She also bookstalks people on a regular basis. Kristina lives in Ohio with her husband and two children.

Erin McCahan (pronounced McCann) is the author of Love and Other Foreign Words and the forthcoming The Lake Effect. Karen A. McClintock, PhD, is a psychologist specializing in family secrets and shame recovery. She is a national workshop leader and teaches human sexuality at Southern Oregon University. Jim McCormac
Jim McCormac worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for thirty-one years, first as a botanist and then on special projects involving animals, primarily birds, for the Division of Wildlife. Hal McCoy
Hal McCoy is a native of Akron, Ohio and an honors graduate from the Kent State University School of Journalism. He lives with his wife, Nadine, and two dogs, Cooper and Paige, in Englewood, Ohio.
McCoy has been an award-winning sports journalist for 53 years and has covered major league baseball and the Cincinnati Reds for 43 years. He has won 48 state and national writing awards and has been named Ohio sportswriter of the year 13 times by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. In 2002, McCoy was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. and is the only non-Cincinnati resident who is a member of the Cincinnati Journalists Hall of Fame.
Tiffany McDaniel
TIFFANY McDANIEL is the international bestselling author of Betty, The Summer that Melted Everything, and On the Savage Side. Her newest book, A Sky Full of Dragons, is the first book in her new Middle Grade fantasy series, The Wand Keepers, releasing August 27, 2024. Drawing from her Cherokee heritage, she is a poet, a novelist, and a visual artist. She is the winner of over a dozen literary prizes, including the Guardian’s Not the Booker, the Ohioana Reader’s Choice Award, Friends of American Writers Chicago, the Society of Midland Authors, and the FNAC. She lives with cats and a dog surrounded by the trees and wildlife that she loves. When not writing, she may be found in the garden or walking in the woods. Laura McDermott
Laura published her first book, Lessons from a Birdbrain: Summer, Ohio in November 2020. She is an avid birdwatcher, videographer, kitten foster mom and student of mindfulness in her free time. Her other career is in Information Technology Program Management, and she is also passionate about building technology solutions to solve business problems. Let’s just say, these two careers help balance the right and left sides of Laura’s brain.
