The Ohioana Quarterly
The Ohioana Quarterly was established in 1958 as a way of highlighting the books
received by the Ohioana Library and providing support for Ohio authors.
Originally published in January, April, July, and October, and now twice a year, the quarterly features reviews of recent
books, articles and essays about the literary and cultural arts in Ohio, and an annotated list of new books received.
The journal is distributed to approximately 2,500 members and friends, with our main readers being
librarians, teachers, authors, publishers, book club members, book collectors, and book lovers of all ages.
Twice a year starting in May 2011 the Ohio Magazine will publish a special section of the magazine devoted to Ohioana.
