100 Years of Ohio Authors

Thanks to a generous grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, Ohioana is launching 100 Years of Ohio Authors — a new event series celebrating a century of Ohio literature! Each event will feature a contemporary Ohio author and their recent book with a historic author and book from each decade over the last 100 years.

We’re kicking off the event series with poetry in 1925, when The Weary Blues by Langston Hughes was published, paired with contemporary poet Scott Woods and his recent collection, Black Night Falling.

📅 September 10, 6 PM
📍 The Streetlight Guild, Columbus

Join literary gems Dionne Custer Edwards and Scott Woods for an engaging conversation about these two incredible poetry books!

Free to attend (suggested donation: $10).
