Lois McMaster Bujold
Lois McMaster Bujold has published
twenty full-length novels, five novellas, and four short stories. She is the recipient of both the Hugo and the Nebula Awards. In 2005,
she again received the Nebula Award for Best Novel for Paladin of Souls, and her novella,
Winterfair Gifts, won second place for short fiction in the Sapphire Awards and was a Hugo Award nominee for best novella.
In 2008, she will be the Writer Guest of Honor for the 66th World Science Fiction Convention in Denver, CO.
Bujold is a former resident of Columbus, Upper Arlington, and Marion Ohio and is also the daughter of an Ohioana winner. Her father, Dr. Robert C. McMaster, received an
Ohioana Citation in 1971 for valuable contributions in the field of electrical engineering that include authorship of technical papers, editing,
and for the patents that resulted from his research.
