David M. Selcer
David Selcer was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in Wooster and Akron, Ohio.
He graduated from Northwestern University, where, among others, he majored in
American History and attended the Medill School of Journalism. After receiving a J.D.
from Ohio State University College of Law, he remained in Columbus, Ohio practicing Labor
and Civil Rights law.
He is the author of three mysteries–Deadly Audit, Dead but Still Ticking, and Muscles, Music,
and Murder–which are part of the Buckeye Barrister Mystery series (Cozy Cat Press), in which
all of the stories take place in Columbus. Born, himself, on the birthday of Abraham Lincoln,
Lincoln’s Hat; and the TEA Movement’s Anger (Tate Publishing) is Mr. Selcer’s first foray into
writing novels of historical fiction.
