David M. Selcer
David Selcer authors the Buckeye Barrister Mystery Series, started in 2013, which was the first mystery series set wholly in Columbus, Ohio. There are currently four books in the series: DEADLY AUDIT; DEAD BUT STILL TICKING; MUSCLES, MUSIC and MURDER; and DREAM CATCHER MURDERS, which is the latest mystery. He is also the author of LINCOLN’S HAT and the TEA Movement’s Anger, a novel of historical fiction which won Best Book in its Category in the Chanticleer Writers Contest for 2016. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, where he was in the Medill School of Journalism and studied American History. He received a Juris Doctor degree from the Ohio State University College of Law (the Moritz School), and he practiced management labor, employment and civil rights law for 35 years in the private sector. He was also a Federal Agency Decision writer, and has written decisions for various government agencies.
