Conrade C. Hinds
Mr. Hinds is originally from Nashville, Tenn. and a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where he studied architecture and industrial technology. He has lived in Central Ohio for 42 plus years and is a registered architect licensed in Ohio and New York. He retired as a Facilities Project Manager with the City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities. He also served as an adjunct faculty member in the Engineering Dept. at Columbus State Community College for 28 years.
He has written and had two additional books published. The first book titled The Great Columbus Experiment of 1908 and the second published manuscript titled Columbus and the Great Flood of 1913 chronicles the events leading up to a record breaking devastating flood that severely crippled industrial Midwest America.
As a licensed Auctioneer, he likes to give back to the community by donating his services to a variety of charitable fund raising events such as Operation Feed. Conrade and his wife Janet have four adult children and 4 grandchildren and enjoy visiting historic sites in America and Europe. As an author he enjoys researching and writing about forgotten history.
